- Support ACADV’s legislative agenda.
- Voice your interest and concerns through phone calls, emails and letters to your legislators.
- Thank your legislators for supporting domestic violence legislation.
- Invite legislators to domestic violence awareness events and seminars.
- Ask your local legislators to speak at local events on ways to protect victims of domestic violence.
- Visit your local delegation offices and get to know the staff.
- Conduct media events including your legislators on the needs of domestic violence victims and successful programs or projects addressing these needs.
